Y'all can't see "Rubber Mode" by just looking at the stuff on the phone. How to go into "Safety Mode" is equally follows... some things may be named a tad unlike on your phone, but information technology will requite you a good idea...

To go into "Safe Mode" please practice the post-obit.

1. First plough off the phone.

ii. Next printing and concur "Power" until you see the manufacturers logo on the screen, then release the ability button.

3. "Quickly" press "Volume Downwardly" and hold it for few seconds until you meet the message "Safe mode: ON" or something similar.

4. If yous wanted disable it, but repeat the steps higher up, and you should see "Safe Way: OFF" rather than on.

As to the other, you have to become into "Settings" on your phone. Which usually is a fiddling gear icon. In settings locate the "Apps" department. When you enter that, you are looking for the "All" or "All Apps" section and and then locate the "Messaging" app in the list of applications. Tap that once and information technology should open to a screen that has buttons for things similar "Move to SD Bill of fare" (which will probably be grayed out) "Clear Data" and "Clear Cache". Or similar titles.

Well information technology could be an app on the telephone, peculiarly if the text messages are through an app other than the cellphones normal text messaging app. If they don't stop then yous can attempt a couple of things.

First thing I would do is clear the messaging apps cache. Go into the phones "Settings", the tap "Apps". Ringlet (usually right) and locate the "All" or "All Apps" department. Now locate the "Messaging" app and tap information technology to open the info. On this next screen you should run into an pick for "Clear Cache". Tap that. And so restart the phone and meet if the letters continue.

Second, try restarting the telephone in "Safe Mode" and leave it that for a while. Exercise the messages still testify upwardly or do they stop?

If it stops occurring when in "Prophylactic Style" then you have some app or virus on the telephone that is causing the repeating.

3rd, if they proceed showing up, then it probably isn't an effect with the device. your carrier/service provider and you should contact them as there is probably a glitch happening on their end.

Thanks for your quick response. I actually appreciate your taking the time to help me. Nevertheless, I tin can'd find anything on my Alcatel One Touch chosen "Clear Cache" or anything remotely like; I checked the unabridged phone. I don't have a "Prophylactic Mode" selection on this phone; I looked everywhere for this too. I'm going to take your advice and call Tracfone and explicate my trouble with the repeat text messages. Bet you're right -- it's probably on their stop. Thanks again!
